Contest Rules

The following rules are in place to maintain the fairness and integrity of the contest.

Communication and Resources

This is an individual contest. Until the contest is over, you may not share or receive information with anyone, publicly or privately, in a way that could help you or any other person to solve the tasks, with the following exception:

• For tasks labelled "Beginner-Friendly", discussion is allowed, including in public channels such as our Discord server. However, spoiling tasks by providing answers is not allowed.
• You may contact us for help and we may decide to offer assistance within reason, for example, if you believe a task is broken.

Unless it breaks the communication rule, you may use any means or resources to solve the tasks, e.g. the internet, calculators, software, books and notes.

Disqualification

CPMSoc reserves the right to disqualify a participant (and possibly take further action) for any reason, including but not limited to:

• Breaking the communication rule above.
• Abusing the registration/accounts system.
• Submitting inappropriate or malicious answers.
• Attempting to attack or subvert any part of the contest system.
